Here are a few of the things we have gotten done in preparation for Baby Boy.
1. Rebuilt the upstairs hall closet (with help from both of our dads) so we could have better storage.
2. The new closet and new baby resulted in a need to organize. We have sorted through a lot and have either tossed stuff, put it in a garage sale pile, or put it in a proper home. I even organized all of Zoe's baby clothes (we have 5 bins) according to size and pulled out the boy appropriate clothes.
3. Wayne decided we needed to update the paint in the hall. We now have a nice yellow hall. Really brightens things up. (just have some touch up left)
4. Cleaned the hall, stair, and Zoe's carpets. Not a fun task but we were lucky enough to be able to borrow Wayne's sisters carpet cleaner and work at a more accommodating pace then if we rented one.
5. Relocated furniture in preparation for Zoe sharing her room. The changing table is now in the hall overlooking the stairs and it is even completely organized. Plus during the reorganizing we sifted through all the nooks and crannies in Zoe's room to clean out and clean up.
6. Wayne is re-siding the garage and getting rid of the rotten sheathing and sill plates. The simple change and improvement has made such a huge aesthetic difference.
7. Also with help from the parents our kitchen is getting an update. We will post that when it is done (just have to finish the floor)
8. Finally: room by room we are purging and cleaning and starting fresh.
The question is would this have happened so efficiently if we weren't nesting? And do the papa's nest? I really think Wayne is.

You guys have gotten a ton done! Wish I could say the same for Dave and I...maybe we're so unmotivated because we aren't nesting though ;) I love the shelving in the hall closet!
Everything looks great. I know you have worked hard to get things sorted out. I like the location of the changing table, but where will you cuddle with the kids before bed?
