This weekend the kids and I took a trip with Grandma and Grandpa Hempel to Des Moines for the AQS Quilt show. We stayed in Des Moines Friday and Saturday nights and came home on Sunday. It was a lot of fun and we saw a lot of great quilt stuff. Mom and I agree that if money was no object we could have come home with more stuff than we would ever have time to use.

I am not able to post pictures from the show but here is one from our lunch break and a few from the hotel. We had a lot of fun in the hotel (we all shared one room) and even got to swim both nights. I did learn on this trip that I am not a fan of sharing a bed with Zoe. She kicked me in the head multiple times. The second night Henry slept in the bed and Zoe slept in the pack and play which resulted in better sleep for all.
