Swimming, Haircuts, and gifts

We were in Muscatine this weekend for a graduation party and a little visit.  The weather was nice enough that the kids could swim both days.  Although I wouldn't have gone in the pool I thought it was too cold!

Zoe wants to have long long hair but hates having it brushed.  After many weeks of talking and negotiating I was able to convince her short hair would be better.  She agreed if I cut it.  Which I have never done before.

Zoe has had the same two wonderful teachers for both years of preschool so we wanted to give them a little something extra this year.  I made them both a simple tote bag that we are going to put a book, a gift card, and a drawing made by Zoe.  Zoe picked the fabrics out for both bags.

You can find the pattern here.

Will you cut my hair, too? I have successfully avoided getting a cut in the new area, but it is probably time to have it done :) Zoe - you will love having short hair again!! Love the gift ideas for the teachers :)

I enjoyed having long hair for a couple of months, but I am loving my white naturally curly short hair. I know you will love not having the knots pulled out with the brush. Cute do, Zoe!
