Swimming started this week. The first day was really rough, a lot of crying, but now things are a lot better. 3 days down and a few more left to go. I really think its a good experience for the kids and us.
Tonight we did our activity and baseball cards all as one. I found this bubble painting activity on the Family Fun Magazine website.
You combine paint and bubble solution then you blow bubbles in the solution. Once the bubbles are extra tall you put a piece of paper on top to make a picture.
Zoe also came up with an alternative way by blowing bubbles with the straw and letting them pop on the paper. Both worked nicely.
We had an easy dinner outside. It was hot and they were messy.
The last few nights have been spent weeding the garden. I hate to say this but my amazing garden isn't all that amazing. Except at growing grass.
Its had a few problems. First the rabbits ate a lot the good stuff. Don't worry dad the brussel sprouts were not eaten.
Then the grass took over. One day I looked at the garden and thought... Boy I should weed a little. Then life got busy and the next time I looked at it there was all this "wonderful" grass.
See the really green areas? That's how it all looked.
