It was hot in Iowa yesterday. (its been hot all month) But for us yesterday was pretty bad because our air conditioner decided it needed a break. Luckily we were able to get it repaired but the house was pretty toasty for a good chunk of the evening.
Yesterday was also Zoe's first T-Ball practice and since Wayne is the coach it left Henry and I to entertain ourselves. Henry was bummed he didn't get to play baseball too so I decided he needed a treat and in order to avoid the heat we went to the mall playground. He spent most of the first 20 minutes playing the game shown below. I was impressed by how easily he figured it out and by how it kept his attention for so long when he had so many things he could have been climbing and jumping off.
