Zoe seems to need a little more attention from the mama lately so I thought that we would start reading a chapter book. I decided to go with a short one to get her used to the idea of books taking longer than 10 minutes to read. I picked The Twits by Roald Dahl which is one of my all time favorites that my Mom read to me.
We read 3 "chapters" yesterday. She seems to like it. It does have some pictures on each page that is helping the transition of Berenstain Bear books to chapter books. Henry was in and out listening too.
Last night we learned about Mr. Twit and his dirty facial hair. Tonight we will learn about Mrs. Twit.
