This is what our fire pit looked like Friday night. It was a well loved fire pit that we got as a wedding gift. It got a lot of use although we both kinda wished we had used it more.
This is Friday night at home depot. Buying supplies for my gift.
While Wayne mowed the yard I started the hole for the new fire pit. The kids helped too, but mainly they just collected the worms that were found.
They made homes for the worms.
And even gave them rides on the swings.
My perfect circle.
Then we had to add a gravel base and level it.
We used a tan stone and did 5 rows. Everyone took part.

I can't wait to spend summer night around our new fire pit.
As much as I love the final product my favorite part is that we all built it together.
