Zoe's actual birthday was a laid back affair.
I went to lunch with her at school so we could deliver the hats and gloves she got at her party. The nurse's were very impressed.
She had gymnastics that evening and for the first time I got to watch. She goes with the neighbor while we are still at work so I took off early to go and watch. I was very impressed with her.
Then presents. Lots of legos. Her homemade gift was a loft bed. Both kids have been asking for them since staying at Grandma and Grandpa H's and enjoying their bunk beds. (Watch for another post all about the making of the loft bed.)
We ended the evening by going to Jimmy John's (Zoe's choice) and ice cream. It was a nice
