The 5th graders at Zoe's school are doing a fundraiser for "Starving Kids". They have come up with a different fun day for school each day this week. In order to participate you have to pay $.50. We told Zoe she could participate but would have to use her allowance. We started allowance this year for each of them. They get $1 for every year they are 2 times a month. When they get their allowance they have to put $1 in a savings jar then they can decide what they do with their other money. Zoe is working to buy a $100 lego set so most of her money goes there but she thought she could spare $2.50 for such a good cause (FYI - if it had been more than that we probably would have helped but it was a good opportunity for her to make a financial decision)
Tuesday was Crazy Hair Day.
