Sheel's has a kids night every month where they have different activities to introduce kids to different sports. This month was Archery. The ages for the activities are 4-12 but they said Henry could participate since his birthday is so close. They did several things that helped them learn the sport. One was Archery tag with foam arrows.
The bow was as big as Henry so he really didn't get to participate.
Next was target practice with foam arrows.
Zoe was too fast and I didn't get a photo of her.
Finally they got to try out the Archery Range and use a "real" arrow
Henry decided on his last arrow he needed to get up close and personal. I think he made the staff member a little nervous.
Zoe did pretty awesome.
I mean look at that shot. First shot and its on the page!
Zoe has now decided she wants a bow for her birthday or Christmas.
